Some ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter use user-defined variables as a generic way to sanitize parameters and avoid SQL injection when executing DML or procedures with ODBC connections. Without that support, I’m unable to execute procedures that use parameters in PowerCenter.
What is your ideal solution? What are you looking for?
I would like to request user-defined variable support in MemSQL, which would increase MemSQL’s compatibility with ETL tools.
What version(s) of MemSQL or related tools is this affecting?
MemSQL 6.7+, PowerCenter 10.2 HF2+
