Sorry for the delayed response. I guess your question is pertaining to a person’s responsibilities?
As you may know MemSQL is a full fledged RDBMS with superior capabilities to do operational analytics. Also MemSQL runs as a cluster of nodes - truly MPP and scalable.
Given that, the MemSQL Developer role will be of database application developer who will be well versed at SQL programming, designing data models, logical and physical etc.
Whereas the MemSQL Administrator will be like a typical DBA who will be an expert on the way MemSQL works, installed, distributed on the underlying hardware and manage the day-to-day operations etc.
