We are happy to announce that MemSQL 6.8 has shipped! Major features in this release include (1) advanced HDFS Pipelines that import data from HDFS using Kerberos and wire encryption, and (2) improved ad hoc (first run) query performance based on just-in-time compilation. Additional features include broader coverage for resource governance, better query performance for CUBE, ROLLUP, and anti/outer/sem-joins, improved compatibility with Oracle-style date functions, new array functions JSON_TO_ARRAY() and SPLIT(), and more.
