This announcement is regarding MemSQL’s Spark Connector.
On October 1st, 2020, we will formally deprecate the MemSQL Spark Connector Version 2.0. The deprecation of this software means that MemSQL Support and Engineering teams will no longer be supporting or developing new features in this version of the MemSQL Spark Connector and that bugs or product issues will no longer be addressed. You must upgrade to the latest version of the MemSQL Spark Connector to obtain support or any new functionality. The newest version of the connector is MemSQL Spark Connector 3.0.
The MemSQL Spark Connector Version 3.0 has many benefits juxtaposed with the previous version, including compatibility with newer versions of Spark (2.3, 2.4) and MemSQL (6.7+), robust SQL pushdown support, including partial pushdown, and load data compression options for data loading.
